Clinical Information

Students accepted into the Traditional Prelicensure B.S.N. sequence will complete a total of eight courses that contain a clinical component. These clinically-based courses are offered over the span of four semesters and within a 75 mile radius of Bloomington-Normal.

A typical nursing student plan of study on average could include evening and weekend clinical placements on two to three days out of the week. Students are responsible for the cost incurred for personal transportation to and from these clinical placements. Many students choose to car pool in order to contain costs. Individual clinical preferences will not be accommodated.
