Beginning fall 2009, Mennonite College of Nursing will be increasing student enrollment for the traditional Prelicensure B.S.N. sequence by adding a second point of entry into the sequence. The admission cycle will remain the same, but accepted students will be offered either fall or spring entry points into the program. The college will balance these entry points in order to increase the total number of accepted students each academic year while managing available resources and maintaining program quality.
Applications for the Traditional Prelicensure B.S.N. sequence may be submitted by all current Illinois State students who were not accepted into the freshman Early Admission Sequence AND all students not currently attending Illinois State University within one year of anticipated nursing admission (i.e. if a student plans on starting the nursing sequence in fall of 2009/spring 2010, s/he may fill out an application between 9/1/08 – 1/15/09.) Students will be informed of their admission status between 2/15/09 – 3/15/09.
