Mennonite College of Nursing became Illinois State University’s sixth academic college on July 1, 1999.
Students accepted into the Accelerated Prelicensure Option will complete a total of 8 courses that contain a clinical component. These clinically-based courses are offered over the span of 4 sessions (or 15 months) and within a 75 mile radius of Bloomington-Normal. Students are responsible for the cost incurred for personal transportation to and from these clinical placements. Many students choose to car pool in order to contain costs. Individual clinical preferences will not be accommodated.
