Application Process

Applications for the Accelerated B.S.N. option may be submitted by all current Illinois State students AND all students not currently attending Illinois State University between September 1, 2009 – January 15, 2010 for Summer 2011 admission. Students will be informed of their admission status between February 15, 2010 – March 15, 2010. There is only a spring admission point into this program.

Students Currently Attending Illinois State University must:

  • Complete a Mennonite College of Nursing admission application via iCampus portal at www.ilstu.edu by clicking on the “Apply to My Major” Link in the Student Information Channel of the “My Info” tab.

Transfer students NOT Currently Attending Illinois State must:

  • Complete an Illinois State University Admission Application. Given that the electronic application format only allows for the endorsement of a “fall admission” when applying between September 1, 2009 – January 15, 2010, and because the application for the Accelerated Option is for a “spring admission” only, students will not be able to complete the Illinois State University application on-line. Instead, students should download the application and mail it to the designated address. When completing the application students should apply as a “second bachelor's student” with the "senior" designation for “Admission Class”.
  • Complete a Mennonite College of Nursing Admission Application
